Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that Russia’s restrictions on Armenian exports are calling into question the future of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), saying the dispute could mark “the beginning of the end” for the Moscow-led bloc if it is not resolved soon.
The employees of the Investigative Committee and the CPE of the Ministry of Internal Affairs visited the members of the Human Rights Protection Center «Memorial» in Moscow (recognized as a foreign agent). Searches take place at least eight locations.
Human rights defenders are suspected in the case of «rehabilitation of Nazism». In particular, investigative actions concern Oleg Orlov, Chairman of the Council of the Human Rights Center, Nikita Petrov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Society "Memorial" Jan Rachinsky". Searches are also conducted at Alexandra Polivanova, Galina Jordan, Alena Kozlova, Irina Ostrovskaya, Alexander Guryanov.
Earlier it was reported that the UK of the Russian Federation has initiated a criminal case under Article. 354.1 ("Rehabilitation of Nazism") according to members of the public movement "Veterans of Russia".
