Azerbaijan has sent nearly 40 tons of equipment for critical infrastructure facilities to Ukraine. The shipment is intended for the railway system, which—like the country's energy grid—continues to operate while under attack by the Russian army.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine announced the new delivery.
The Russian Government noted the growing popularity of North Caucasus resorts
Last season, Russia's ski resorts attracted over 8 million tourists, and this number is expected to increase by another 10% in the 2025-2026 season. Resorts in the North Caucasus Federal District (NCFD) are making a significant contribution to this growth, according to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
According to him, over 70,000 people visited ski resorts in the North Caucasus during the New Year holidays, an 18% increase compared to last year. Popular destinations in Kabardino-Balkaria and the new Mamison resort in North Ossetia were named among the leaders in tourist flow.
It is noted that the growth in tourist flow at ski resorts in the NCFD is outpacing the national average.
