In North Ossetia, the court dismissed the appeal of a journalist fined three times for criticizing the war in Ukraine.

The Supreme Court of North Ossetia refused to accept the complaint of journalist Ruslan Totrov. Earlier, he was fined three times under the article about «discrediting» of the Russian army.
The defense has spoken on the constitutional right to express itself. However, the Court dismissed this argument on the grounds that this right was limited by federal law.
Earlier Ruslan Totrov repeatedly criticized the war in Ukraine and «partial mobilization». He said that Ossetians are not part of the so-called Putin «Russian world». According to him, the Russian army and authorities discredited themselves at all levels. The journalist was forced to leave Russia.
