A Ukrainian citizen was detained in North Ossetia on suspicion of espionage

FSB officers detained a 34-year-old man in North Ossetia. According to investigators, he transmitted to the Ukrainian Armed Forces data on the location and routes of military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces in the “North Military District” zone. The man sent geographical coordinates, photographs and video materials.

A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (espionage). The suspect is in custody.

It is known that the detainee is a citizen of Ukraine and tried to cross the Russian border.
