In North Ossetia to review sentences of policemen who killed a local resident

The Fifth Court of Cassation annulled the decisions of the first instance in the case of the murder of Vladimir Tskayev, a resident of Vladikavkaz, by the police. The materials were submitted for new consideration. The cassation was filed by the defence of former policemen sentenced to real terms. 
Recall that 39-year-old father of two children Vladimir Tskayev died after interrogation with the use of torture on the night of November 1, 2015. in one of the departments of the police of Vladikavkaz. News of his death led to meetings between friends and relatives. 
The widow - Zemfire Tskayeva - took 6.5 years to achieve the result. Only court sessions were over 100. As a result, six members of the security forces were sentenced to real imprisonment, and four others escaped punishment because of the statute of limitations on criminal proceedings.
