Another refugee from Chechnya was placed in a deportation center in Switzerland
A resident of Chechnya, 25-year-old Magomed Gelagayev, who fled Russia after the announcement of military mobilization, ended up in a deportation center in Switzerland.
At first, Gelagaev was in a refugee camp. After he was placed in a psychiatric hospital, since after the outbreak of the war he had panic attacks. Then the man was placed in a deportation center, where a refugee from Chechnya, Ali Bataev, is also kept. He is threatened with deportation to Russia, torture and death.
Mass actions have already been held in various European countries asking not to deport Bataev, who is a critic of the Chechen authorities. Human rights activists also took Magomed Gelagaev's situation under control and intend to visit him in the near future.
