Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili stated that the ruling party's signing of a document in support of Ukraine was motivated not so much by fears of an international investigation as by a desire to irritate Russia.
Servicemen from Dagestan were sentenced to real terms for leaving their unit
The Makhachkala garrison court sentenced Said Shapiev to two and a half years in prison. Previously, he participated in “SVO”, during which he was injured.
The serviceman was treated at home and did not arrive at the military unit. He was found guilty.
The mobilized Kurban Omarov received a year and a half in prison on a similar basis. In court, he said that he had to take care of his elderly sick mother and the commander allowed him to leave. The investigation and the court considered these arguments far-fetched.
