A resident of Ingushetia accused the security forces of planting a grenade

A resident of the Nazran district of Ingushetia, Rasukhan Matsiev, accused of illegal possession of explosive devices, said that the grenade was planted on him by security forces. This was reported in the decision to select a preventive measure for him, published on the website of the Supreme Court of Ingushetia.

According to Matsiev, the RGD-5 grenade with a fuse was planted by employees of the operational search service during the search. The defense also considers the validity of the accusation unconfirmed.

However, the Supreme Court of the republic confirmed the decision of the court of first instance and left Matsiev under arrest. He faces six to eight years in prison.
