A resident of Chechnya was forced to publicly apologize for criticizing the healthcare system

A video filmed by a resident of the Urus-Martan district of Chechnya, Shamkhan Talarov, has been distributed on social networks. In it, he reported that an ambulance was unable to enter the hospital grounds due to closed gates. The Grozny State TV Channel checked the information and found that it was not true.

Shamkhan Talarov apologized to the hospital staff for spreading "fakes."

"As explained by the Urus-Martan Central District Hospital, the recording does not show the main entrance for patients and emergency services, but a backup service entrance, which is closed at night according to regulations. The main ones are located on the other side of the building and work around the clock. The author of the video admitted that his actions were ill-considered and apologized to the hospital staff for the false accusations," the TV channel's publication says.
