A resident of Kabardino-Balkaria, arrested for treason and preparing an act of sabotage, faces life imprisonment. The 34-year-old man is suspected of collaborating with Ukrainian intelligence services and planning an act of sabotage in Kabardino-Balkaria.
According to investigators, the suspect entered Russia on instructions from Ukrainian intelligence services. A criminal case has been opened against the detainee on several counts, including treason and illegal trafficking of explosives.
