Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has warned that Russia’s restrictions on Armenian exports are calling into question the future of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), saying the dispute could mark “the beginning of the end” for the Moscow-led bloc if it is not resolved soon.
A resident of Dagestan faces imprisonment for defamation of the Russian army
Criminal proceedings were instituted against a 40-year-old resident of Tidib village, Shamil district, Dagestan, for the dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces (art. 207.3, para. 1).
According to the investigators, in April 2022, a suspect in one of the social networks distributed video material discrediting the goals and objectives of the special military operation of the Armed Forces.
The investigation department did not specify what specific information the resident of the republic disseminated. The man faces up to 5 years of imprisonment.
