Chechen activists staged a picket outside the Kazakh embassy in Warsaw, protesting the planned extradition of Mansur Movlayev to Russia. Participants also expressed their support for Zelimkhan Murtazov, who has been held in the transit zone of Astana Airport for two months.

Lawyers for Chechen native Mansur Movlaev have appealed the Kazakh prosecutor's office's decision to extradite him to Russia, filing appeals with the agency and the presidential administration. Solo pickets are also planned.

European Commissioner for Human Rights Michael O'Flaherty commented on the ruling party of Georgia's plan to adopt amendments to seven different laws, including the Law on Grants.
