11-year-old Minkail Gekhaev, a resident of the village of Kurchaloy, died on the train on the way home from Moscow. A month before his death, during the next artillery strike on the settlement, the boy experienced severe stress; he had to be taken for treatment to one of the capital's clinics.

The "cleansing" in the village of Achkhoy-Martan continued. According to the military, the operation, which involves employees of the VOVD and all law enforcement agencies stationed in the Achkhoi-Martan district, will last three days.

Today is International Day for the Victims of Enforced Disappearances. This concept is more than a violation of human rights. This is an effective tool for instilling an atmosphere of terror in society.
