Azerbaijan and China expand cooperation within the framework of strategic partnership

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov held talks with Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Su Hui, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported. The parties noted that Azerbaijani-Chinese relations are developing dynamically thanks to the political will of the leaders of the two states - President Ilham Aliyev and Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

It was emphasized that the signing of the Joint Statement on the Establishment of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in April was an important step that brought bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.

The importance of President Aliyev's visit to China in late August - early September was also emphasized: this opened up additional opportunities for strengthening political dialogue and expanding multilateral cooperation.

Prospects for further development of cooperation in various areas of mutual interest to Baku and Beijing were discussed.

The full text of the verdict was also not released.
