Foreign Ministers of Turkey and Armenia reported on the normalization of relations.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu said during a meeting in Ankara with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan that steps to normalize relations between the two countries would be accelerated. The ministers also discussed the negotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. 
"If the three countries take decisive steps, it will benefit peace and stability in the South Caucasus, economic prosperity," said Chavushoglu and Mirzoyan.
Ankara and Yerevan have agreed to accelerate work on the opening of the ground link. Preparations for border crossings are continuing, with roads and bridges leading to them being repaired.
Ararat Mirzoyan recalled that 35 years later the land border between Armenia and Turkey was opened. He considers it symbolic that it was opened by trucks with Armenian Humpoise for the earthquake-affected residents of Turkey. In addition, Armenian rescuers help to get people out of the rubble.
