Across the world, including in Ukraine and Europe, commemorating the victims of Stalin's deportation of Chechens and Ingush people are currently taking place.
The Ministry of Finance of Georgia reacted to the information disseminated by TV Pirveli. The ministry said that since the imposition of international sanctions, Georgia “fully complies with the rules and strictly monitors any kind of customs formality.” It is reported by Sova.News.
The Ministry of Finance also notes that any export-import operations with the Russian Federation and Belarus are subject to special customs control. If a product or company is found on the sanctions list, Georgia does not allow the operation. In addition, Kazakhstan and Georgia agreed to transport Chinese goods to the EU, bypassing Russia. Both countries have signed an agreement to establish a joint venture for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). Originating in China, the CITR passes through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan and Georgia, from where goods are delivered by sea to European countries. Transit from China to Europe through Russia fell by 30% last year.
