Kadyrov commented on the inclusion of his mother in the sanctions list

Inclusion in the sanctions list of the President of the Regional Public Fund. A.A. Kadyrov Aimani Kadyrova is another illogical step by the State Department, according to her son Ramzan Kadyrov. The head of Chechnya said that he would not forgive the United States for this and demanded that the sanctions be lifted, while contradicting himself, he called them "painless."

“I had already ceased to be surprised at the illogical sanctions decisions of the United States and the West. And suddenly again - now my dear mother is on the list. The fact that she is engaged in charitable activities alone is known to the whole world. Therefore, the American decision can only be regarded as a deliberate and cynical disregard for all ethical norms,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel late on August 31. He also noted that if the States have legalized such criminal methods for themselves, then Russia should not drive itself into any framework.

At the same time, Ramzan Kadyrov called the Chechen wars, as well as the events in Georgia and Ukraine, "US projects in the post-Soviet space", attributing to America and other conflicts around the world, "unleashed on a fictitious occasion." “If something like this got away with American criminals, then it won’t work with Russia. Let them amuse themselves with their painless sanctions for us. Well, we will continue to break the back of the Ukronat gangs,” Kadyrov said.

Recall that on August 24, the US Treasury imposed sanctions on 11 Russian citizens, including the mother of the head of Chechnya, Aimani Kadyrov. After the start of the “SVO”, various sanctions were repeatedly imposed on the relatives of Ramzan Kadyrov. So, in September 2022, his wife and three daughters, as well as Fatima Khazuyeva and Aminad Akhmadova, named Kadyrov's wives on the list, fell under them.
