Kyiv: Russia lost more helicopters in Ukraine than in both Russian-Chechen wars
Russia lost five times more helicopters in the war against Ukraine than during the two aggressive wars in Ichkeria (1994-1996, 1999-2009). This was stated by the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Gromov at a briefing by representatives of the security and defense forces of Ukraine. “On our territory, the losses of Russian terrorists amounted to about 60 combat and transport helicopters,” Gromov said.
