Kremlin propagandist calls for attacking Azerbaijani infrastructure in Ukraine

Kirill Kabanov, chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Committee (NAC) and member of the Presidential Council for Human Rights, has proposed targeted strikes on Ukrainian oil facilities related to Azerbaijani companies.

In his Telegram channel, Kabanov noted that it has recently become increasingly clear who is Russia's friend and who is its enemy. In his opinion, Azerbaijan is demonstrating less and less friendliness towards Moscow, and among the country's key partners, he singled out Turkey, the United States, Great Britain, and Ukraine.

Kabanov said that these states are true allies of Baku, which, in his opinion, changes the geopolitical situation in the region and forces us to reconsider previous approaches to cooperation with Azerbaijan.

The NAC Chairman emphasized that in order to protect Russia's interests, it is necessary not only to attack oil facilities associated with Azerbaijan, but also to completely suppress the influence and activities of criminal groups associated with the Azerbaijani diaspora in Russian business.

Earlier, as a result of Russian drone strikes on an oil depot and gas distribution station of the Azerbaijani state company SOCAR in the Odessa region of Ukraine, a fire broke out and a diesel fuel pipeline was damaged. Four employees were seriously injured.

Billionaire and former Nagorno-Karabakh state minister Ruben Vardanyan, sentenced in Baku to 20 years in prison, rejected the legal force of the ruling and dropped his appeal. His family explained that this decision stemmed from the fact that, in their view, the trial was a "staged performance" rather than a proper trial: the hearings were held behind closed doors, without access to independent observers, and the prosecution's motions were ignored. The full text of the verdict was also not released.
