Makhachkala Attacked by Two Drones

On the morning of October 22, Makhachkala was attacked by two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to sources, one of the drones exploded over an industrial zone, causing shrapnel damage to vehicles. The second UAV struck a shopping center under construction.

Dagestan has declared a state of heightened alert due to the incident. Head of the Republic, Sergey Melikov, called on the public to be vigilant and observe precautionary measures. Temporary restrictions on the operation of Makhachkala Airport have also been announced. Details of the damage and possible casualties are being clarified, and emergency services are working on the scene.

Authorities remind everyone of the current ban on the dissemination of information regarding Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV attacks, the location of military forces, and critical infrastructure facilities.
