The UAE President visited Georgia and announced new investments

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, arrived in Tbilisi on an official visit. He was met at the airport by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, after which the delegations met in an expanded format.

During the visit, the Sheikh held talks with Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder and honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream party. Ivanishvili noted that economic ties between the countries are strengthening and expressed gratitude for investments in Georgia.

For his part, Mohammed bin Zayed emphasized that relations will continue to develop.

"As you know, we are implementing a 6 billion euro investment project in Georgia, which will begin in the coming days. I also express my readiness to finance the education of Georgian students in the United Arab Emirates and help your youth deepen their knowledge in artificial intelligence," the Sheikh said.
