The death of Olympic wrestling champion, Chechen Buvaisar Saitiev, could have been caused by a fall from a window
One of the most titled freestyle wrestlers, Chechen, former State Duma deputy from Dagestan Buvaisar Saitiev was found lying near the house on Minskaya Street in Moscow on March 2, where he lived. With serious injuries, he was hospitalized in the Zhadkevich City Clinical Hospital, where he died in intensive care.
 
According to Baza, the wrestler's brother told investigators that Saitiev could have accidentally fallen out of the window of his third-floor apartment while doing housework.
 
Buvaisar Saitiev is a three-time Olympic champion, six-time world champion, and six-time European champion in freestyle wrestling. He was a State Duma deputy from 2016 to 2021, and also an advisor to the heads of Chechnya and Dagestan.
