"Russian Community": now the entire DUM organization can be safely recognized as extremist

Russian nationalists welcome the recognition of the dictionary "Islam in the North Caucasus" as extremist. Against the backdrop of this decision, the leader of the "Russian Community" organization Andrei Tkachuk stated that the activities of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia may also fall under the law.

"And again, like the pro-Western foreign agents in Sandarmokh, the DUM activists want to denigrate Russia and label the country as an aggressor and oppressor state. But if there was a hand that ruled from the West, then here we can rather see the influence of the Turkish moustache of Turan, which the current leader Erdogan and all the lovers of oriental fairy tales who look up to him wear. Well, the DUM continues to function for now, but I am sure that justice will soon put everything in its place in Russia, because it was not for nothing that our State Duma deputies tightened Article 282 in the Criminal Code of the country. Now the entire DUM organization can safely be recognized as extremist under this article,” Tkachuk said.

Earlier, at the request of the prosecutor's office, the Moscow City Court recognized the dictionary "Islam in the North Caucasus" edited by the first deputy chairman of the DUM of the Russian Federation Damir Mukhetdinov as extremist. The key basis was the examination by Roman Silantyev, who found references to individuals and organizations associated with terrorist activities in a number of articles. The DUM of the Russian Federation called the expert's findings untenable and emphasized that the publications were prepared by scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences and MGIMO, and their content is of an exclusively scientific nature.
