The North Caucasus is recognized as the least anxious region for residents
According to the results of the annual study “Rating of Regions. KROS”, the top three “most unperturbed” subjects of the Russian Federation included Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachay-Cherkessia. The population of these republics has the lowest anxiety index.

Dagestan and Chechnya were also among the “calmest” regions. Muscovites, as it turned out, have the highest anxiety index. It is noteworthy that the indicator increased in the Kursk Region, the Urals and Western Siberia, but decreased in the east and south of the country.

At the same time, experts emphasize the sharp increase in the number of “unperturbed” regions – from 27 to 39. According to analysts, the progress is explained by the fact that the regions have become more balanced in their attitude to alarming topics.
