More than 44 petitions were received by the Supreme Court of Dagestan to appeal arrests in a criminal case for participation in mass riots at Makhachkala airport. In total, the number of people in custody could reach 91.
In addition, the courts of Dagestan brought 412 people to administrative responsibility. For most of them, protocols were drawn up under the article on violation of the procedure for holding actions. The rest were brought under the article on organizing mass simultaneous presence of citizens in public places.
On October 29, activists staged a pogrom at Makhachkala airport demanding that passengers on a flight from Tel Aviv not be allowed into the city. The action took place as part of the response to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
