"Now he has come for your sons"

On September 30, representatives of the Dagestani diaspora in Turkey addressed their compatriots and all the peoples of the North Caucasus. In their opinion, the war in Ukraine has long been lost, and the Putin regime, trying to delay its end, is speculating on the theme of patriotism and sending untrained mobilized people to certain death.
“Where is the vaunted army with which the Kremlin threatened to take Ukraine? Where are the weapons that Putin boasted about and which supposedly have no analogues in the world? Now, it turns out, there is no army, no weapons, and all hope is for mobilized, unfired soldiers with only machine guns. Having robbed you completely, he has now come for your sons. He sends the population to slaughter and threatens them with prison for refusing,” say the authors of the appeal.
According to them, the current political regime in the Russian Federation does not recognize either religion, morality, law, or honor and dignity. “The slaves of this system are those who beat everyone indiscriminately on the streets of Makhachkala during the so-called CTO [counter-terrorism operations], rampaged through our homes, beat children and women, kidnapped and killed men. Therefore, we know very well who you are up against. And the greater the greatness of your feat in our eyes,” the Turkish Dagestanis turned to their compatriots.
