Former Secretary of State of Dagestan to Have Property Worth Half a Billion Rubles Seized

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has filed a lawsuit to seize 53 real estate properties belonging to former Secretary of State of Dagestan Magomed-Sultan Magomedov and 16 of his relatives in favor of the state. The total value of the assets, located in Dagestan, Stavropol Krai, and Moscow, is estimated at approximately 500 million rubles.

The list of properties includes land plots, residential buildings, and commercial buildings.

The basis for the lawsuit was the results of an inspection, during which the prosecutor's office concluded that the assets were acquired using funds obtained through corruption and subsequent legalization. According to the plaintiff, the declared income of Magomedov and his family is incomparable with the value of the acquired real estate. According to the Federal Tax Service, for the period from 2001 to 2023, Magomedov declared an income of 25.5 million rubles, while his wife, who had no official income until 2021, owns real estate with a cadastral value of about 118 million rubles. In August 2025, the Dagnefteprodukt oil transshipment complex and the Dagnotech plant, previously owned by the Magomedov family, were returned to state ownership. The total value of these enterprises exceeds 100 billion rubles. The FSB investigation revealed a fraudulent scheme to steal the complex, in which, according to preliminary data, Magomedov was involved.
