Property worth 500 million rubles was seized from the ex-head of the Ministry of Economic Development for the SCFD
Real estate and other property worth more than 500 million rubles were confiscated from the ex-head of the Department of Social and Economic Development of the North Caucasian Federal District, Igor Hranovsky. Since March 2024, he has been under arrest and accused of embezzlement of budget funds.
 
A land plot with an area of ​​2.8 thousand square meters was seized from Hranovsky. sq. m, a cottage in the village of Gorky-2 near Moscow, three non-residential premises, seven premium class cars (Bentley Continental GT, Bentley Mulsanne, Mercedes-Benz G63, Mercedes-Benz CL 65 AMG and three more Mercedes cars). In addition, more than 433 thousand dollars and 53 thousand euros, as well as 3.7 million rubles, were subject to confiscation.
 
Hranovsky was detained in Pyatigorsk. The department headed by him deals with issues of strategic, investment and territorial development of the SCFD, including investment attraction, trade and economic issues and tourism. In 2015–2018, Hranovsky was the deputy chairman of the government of Ingushetia.
