A native of Ingushetia will be tried on charges of participating in an illegal armed group
A criminal case against 27-year-old native of Ingushetia Alikhan Ozdoyev has been referred to court. He is accused of participating in an illegal armed group and a terrorist organization.

Ozdoyev was detained in October 2024 after being extradited to Russia from Egypt. According to investigators, he supplied food and housing to Amirkhan Gurazhev's group. At the end of 2023, Ozdoyev left Russia, was put on the international wanted list and was subsequently detained in Egypt.

Investigators believe that Gurazhev's group attacked a traffic police post in Ingushetia in March 2023. Two police officers were wounded. In April of the same year, unknown persons fired at Interior Ministry officers in the village of Gvardeyskoye, one security officer was wounded. Soon after, a shooting took place in the village of Zyazikov-Yurt - three police officers were killed, eight more were injured. The authorities claimed that the attackers were ISIS supporters. Afterwards, Gurazhev and Ozdoyev were put on the wanted list. The first of them was killed in a shootout a year later.
