A native of Azerbaijan, Rovshan Askerov, is included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation
A former connoisseur of the television game "What? Where? When?", journalist, native of Azerbaijan, Rovshan Askerov, was included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation, reports Rosfinmonitoring.

In December 2022, Askerov was recognized as a foreign agent and entered in the relevant register. In addition, in the same year he was accused of "rehabilitating Nazism" and arrested in absentia. The reason was his post on a social network banned in the Russian Federation about Marshal Zhukov, where he called him a "marauder with experience", a "murderer in uniform" and a "thief". Zhukov "took away trophy property from defeated Germany for his personal use," Askerov noted.

In addition, Rovshan Askerov called Russian soldiers in Ukraine enemies.

"For me, every Russian soldier who entered Ukraine with a weapon in his hands is an enemy. They came to kill. Therefore, the only attitude towards them is to kill them. The best thing they can do is return the weapons to the Kremlin," Askerov said.

In 2023, the TV star was fined twice due to the lack of foreign agent marking. The same fine was imposed on him in 2024.

Inclusion in the list of terrorists and extremists provides for the freezing of funds in Russian banks and the suspension of their services.
