15-year-old Chechen boy Muslim Murdiyev was transferred from a Moscow pretrial detention center to a juvenile correctional facility in the Volgograd region. The boy's mother appealed to Vladimir Putin and Ramzan Kadyrov, asking them to ensure her son's safety.
A Maykop court has arrested another teenager allegedly involved in the arson of cell phone equipment. Investigators allege that a group of young people, acting on instructions from an unidentified person, set fire to the cell phone station. Although it was not completely destroyed, it was at risk of being disabled.
According to law enforcement, this equipment is critically important, used by military personnel, among others, and plays a key role in maintaining the communications infrastructure.
As a reminder, arson attacks on railway equipment and cell phone stations have become more frequent in Russia since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine. Law enforcement officials believe that such criminal cases often involve perpetrators being forced to film the arson attacks for later delivery to an unknown client.
