Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said Yerevan does not rule out taking its dispute with Russia over the management of the South Caucasus Railway to an international court if the issue cannot be resolved through negotiations. At the same time, he stressed that the Armenian authorities hope to settle the matter through talks.
Azerbaijan announces visit of Russian President
The Russian President will visit Azerbaijan on August 18. The heads of the two states, Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin, will discuss the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement. This is stated in the materials for the visit of the Russian President.
“The key tasks remain the signing of a peace treaty, the advancement of the process of delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, the unblocking of transport, logistics and economic ties in the region based on the well-known trilateral agreements at the highest level in 2020-2022,” the document says.
