During the annual "Year in Review" press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to a question about support for young families, noted the tradition of early marriages in the North Caucasus. He said he believed this was "right" and suggested "following their example," citing Ramzan Kadyrov's large family.
In Chechnya, a participant in the "SVO" was given more than five years for a fake medical certificate
The Grozny Garrison Court sentenced contract soldier Salvar Ismailov to five years and three months in prison. He had previously participated in the "SVO", was wounded and received state awards.
According to the investigation, Ismailov bought fake hospital discharge certificates and a conclusion from the VVK about the need to provide him with long-term health leave from an "unidentified person". In court, the accused said that he had a serious illness, but the unit's command took a long time to issue him a referral to the hospital. At the same time, he was found fit for military service with minor restrictions.
Ismailov participated in a "special operation", was wounded there and was awarded a state award. However, he was still sentenced to a real long term.
