In Chechnya, one-time payments to "SVO" participants have been increased to 400 thousand rubles
The amount of one-time regional payment received by residents of Chechnya going to war with Ukraine has increased from 100 to 400 thousand rubles. This decision is enshrined in a decree signed by the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov. Only those who permanently reside in Chechnya will receive the increased payment.

Previously, Chechnya and North Ossetia had some of the lowest amounts of payments in the Russian Federation for contract soldiers ready to fight with Ukraine. The one-time payment in Kabardino-Balkaria upon signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense and sending to the "SVO" was 1.5 million rubles, in Karachay-Cherkessia - 1.6 million.

According to official statistics, 40 thousand Chechen fighters and 19 thousand volunteers from other regions who underwent training in Chechnya were sent to war with Ukraine. However, according to "Novaya Gazeta Evropa", the real figures are much lower, since people are counted not by heads, but by contracts. The flow of new volunteers to Chechnya decreased in the winter and has now almost dried up. Other regions have finally beaten the competition with their high one-time payments.
