In Chechnya, a serviceman was sentenced to two years for failure to appear during mobilization
The Grozny garrison military court sentenced Abdulla Busazhev to two years in a penal colony. He was found guilty under Art. 337 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (unauthorized leaving the place of service during the period of mobilization).
According to investigators, Busazhev is a serviceman serving under a contract in one of the military units stationed in Chechnya. He was supposed to report for duty on November 29, 2022, but did not. At that time, the law on partial mobilization was in force in the country. The contractor arrived at the location of the unit on December 27 and began to perform his duties.
