A former deputy minister of education and science of Dagestan was detained on suspicion of accepting bribes in the amount of 60 million rubles. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Presumably, we are talking about Khalid Nurmagomedov. According to investigators, from 2013 to 2023, he received the specified amount from the head of a commercial company for assistance in concluding contracts for the repair of educational institutions. In return, the contractor received 15 government orders for 160 million rubles.
