In Dagestan, participants in the pogrom at the airport were arrested for “petty hooliganism” and “transport interference”

The courts of Dagestan arrested eight participants in the pogrom at Makhachkala airport for eight days. All punishments were imposed under the article on “obstructing transport infrastructure” during an uncoordinated rally (Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). Two more participants were assigned 60 hours of compulsory work due to “health conditions” under the same article.

A little earlier, the courts arrested seven more people under the article on “petty hooliganism” (20.1 of the Administrative Code). Thus, the number of arrested rioters at the airport increased to 15 people.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a total of 83 participants in the pogrom at the Makhachkala airport were detained. How many of them are involved in a criminal case for mass riots (Part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) was not specified.
