Dagestan has announced "prerequisites for the formation of new terrorist groups"
In Dagestan, there are still prerequisites for the formation of new terrorist groups. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, during an interdepartmental meeting chaired by the Deputy Director of the Russian FSB - Head of the NAC apparatus, Igor Sirotkin.
 
According to the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, new criminal groups can be created by supporters of radical religious ideology.
 
"In this regard, there is a need to take additional efforts aimed at improving the quality of activities in the field of countering terrorism," Abdulmuslimov emphasized.
 
The Prime Minister noted that municipalities, representatives of the regional executive authorities, law enforcement officers, and the clergy are currently fighting destructive manifestations in society in Dagestan. According to Sirotkin, specialized events should instill "a critical attitude toward the destructive information impact of international terrorist organizations and the collective West."
