Earlier, days off were also announced in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Dagestan, Chechnya and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.

This year, the Muslim holiday of breaking the fast, Eid al-Fitr, falls on March 30. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, during which believers fasted, abstaining from food, drink and worldly pleasures from sunrise to sunset. Followers of Islam celebrate the holiday for three days.
