Another serviceman in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic was sentenced to a long term for evading military service

The Nalchik Garrison Military Court sentenced serviceman Yuri Ganasevich to six years in prison. He was found guilty of abandoning his military unit.

According to investigators, Ganasevich left his temporary deployment point on March 2, 2024. He was put on the wanted list. Almost a year later, the serviceman was found at his home. In court, he admitted his guilt.

Previously, the Nalchik Garrison Military Court has sentenced contract soldiers many times for evading military service. In particular, Algiz Valitov was sentenced to two years in prison, and Amerkhan Kurskiyev to five years. In addition, Arsen Baev and Murat Khapov were sentenced to seven and five years in prison, respectively.
