The Nalchik Garrison Military Court sentenced contract soldier Algiz Valitov to two years in prison. He was found guilty of evading military service.
According to investigators, last year Valitov failed to report for duty twice – on October 18 and November 29. However, in December, he himself arrived at the military unit located in the Sunzhensky District of Ingushetia.
In court, the defendant admitted his guilt and repented. As a result, he was sentenced to two years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
