Prisoners from Ingushetia and other Muslims are being humiliated in a Mordovian colony
The rights of Muslim prisoners, including those from Ingushetia, are being violated in IK-5 in Mordovia. They are forbidden to pray and speak their native language, they are kept in harsh conditions, and they are not paid for their work. This information was shared by the Telegram channel "Fortanga", citing its sources.

In addition, the Telegram channel writes that during inspections, prisoners are kept locked up so that they do not complain. They are also forced to speak and write only good things about the colony.

IK-5, a high-security penal colony in the Mordovian village of Leplei, is a place of imprisonment for former law enforcement officers. In March 2019, prisoners at this correctional facility staged a riot, protesting against humiliation and violence from the administration.
