Ramadan to start on March 23 in North Caucasus republics

The first day of the holy month of Ramadan in Chechnya, Ingushetia, the CBD, North Ossetia and Dagestan will be March 23. The muftiats of the republics reported this. 

The Muftiat of Chechnya noted that Saudi Arabia had not seen a new moon, so 23 March will be the first day of the month of the Muslim holiday.
In Ingushetia, the authorities ordered the introduction of price controls for food products in the run-up to Ramadan. The price increase in the holy month is unacceptable. Earlier we faced these difficulties, and last year it was decided to hold fairs in order to reduce the cost of essential goods», - stressed in the government of the republic.
