Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said Yerevan does not rule out taking its dispute with Russia over the management of the South Caucasus Railway to an international court if the issue cannot be resolved through negotiations. At the same time, he stressed that the Armenian authorities hope to settle the matter through talks.
A memorial plaque was unveiled in Ivano-Frankivsk in honor of the first president of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Dzhokhar Dudayev. It was installed at the beginning of the street, which was also previously named after Dudayev.
The commander and fighters of the Sheikh Mansur battalion came to Ivano-Frankivsk for this occasion. The unit commander, Muslim Cheberloevsky, knew Dzhokhar Dudayev personally.
“We have been here since 2014, participating in this conflict on the side of Ukraine against our common enemy. This day is important to us, this event is important to us, so we came here specially from the front to participate in this opening with you. Towards victory!”, said Muslim Cheberloevsky.
Earlier, a memorial plaque in honor of Dzhokhar Dduayev was installed in Poltava, and the Kyiv authorities named one of the streets in his honor. In addition, in October 2022, the Verkhovna Rada recognized the independence of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria by a majority vote.
