A prisoner from Ingushetia was tortured in the Omsk colony

In the Omsk region, IK-7 officers beat a prisoner from Ingushetia, Abubakar Tochiev. He is prevented in every way from meeting with a lawyer.

Before the torture, Tochiyev was transferred to strict conditions of detention - in EPKT (a single room of the cell type), lawyer Karina Melekhina reported. She was refused a meeting with the client, referring to the fact that he himself allegedly did not want to use her help. Relatives of Tochiev have serious fears for his life and health.

According to Melekhina, the administration of the colony is deliberately preventing her meeting with the convict. Tochiev's protection and relatives appealed to the presidential administration and the Human Rights Council of the Russian Federation.

Ababukar Tochiev was sentenced in 2022 to 17 years in the case of kidnapping and murder as part of a group of persons in Yakutia.
