Kadyrov's son-in-law appointed vice-president of Akhmat

Viskhan Matsuev, married to the eldest daughter of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, has become vice-president of the Akhmat football club. He was appointed to this post by Kadyrov's eldest son, Sports Minister Akhmat Kadyrov. Matsuev is also deputy chairman of the government and minister of agriculture of the republic. Since October 2023, his wife Ayshat Kadyrova has also held the post of deputy prime minister of Chechnya.

Previously, Matsuev held the posts of minister of property and land relations and head of the migration department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He was also awarded the republic's highest award - the Kadyrov Order - and the title of Hero of Chechnya.

It is noteworthy that Kadyrov's children, brothers, sisters, nephews, sons-in-law and other relatives hold various government posts in Chechnya. There are about 100 of them in total.

Recently, one of the sons of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov, entered the Russian Book of Records as the "youngest head of the security service of the head of a Russian region." He was appointed to the post at the age of 16. The corresponding diploma was presented to the "record holder" by the editor-in-chief of the publication during the ACA 180 mixed martial arts tournament in Grozny. Adam Kadyrov is also the curator of the Russian Special Forces University in Chechnya. Previously, he received at least nine awards, including the title of Hero of Chechnya. Kadyrov's son began receiving awards after he beat up a 19-year-old student from Volgograd, Nikita Zhuravel, in a pretrial detention center. Zhuravel burned the Koran and was subsequently convicted of insulting the feelings of believers.
