A resident of Dagestan, accused of participating in a terrorist group, has declared his innocence
A resident of Dagestan, Rustam Dyshniev, who is in pretrial detention, is accused of illegally making an explosive device and participating in a terrorist group. He has rejected all the arguments of the investigation.

The criminal case was opened in November 2024. Dyshniev was detained in December and faces up to 15 years in prison. His defense has stated in all instances that the defendant did not commit the crimes he is accused of.

It is noteworthy that in 2017, a person with the same name was sentenced to three years in prison in Dagestan on charges of illegal possession of drugs, ammunition, and an explosive device. At that time, Dyshniev admitted his guilt, but a version was spread on the Internet that drugs and weapons were planted on all the defendants in the case, and confessions were extracted through torture.
