The UN Human Rights Committee has suspended the extradition of Chechen native Mansur Movlaev from Kazakhstan to Russia. This was announced by Fatima Suleimanova, press secretary of the Chechen political organization "United Force."
The Izobilnensky District Court of the Stavropol Territory arrested a local resident. He was accused of collaborating with the "Russian Volunteer Corps" - an organization operating in Ukraine that is recognized as banned in the Russian Federation.
According to investigators, the man entered into correspondence on Telegram with a representative of the RDC. In addition, he was charged with persuading acquaintances to participate in this organization.
A criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an organization that is recognized as terrorist), Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code (incitement, recruitment or other involvement of a person in the commission of a crime).
