North Caucasus regions lead in terms of provision of schools with teachers and attraction of young personnel
According to the rating “If to Be Precise”, Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan received from 6 to 7 points out of 10 possible in terms of provision of schools with teachers. The higher the score, the lower the shortage of teaching personnel. In addition, these regions are seeing a rejuvenation of the teaching staff. In Chechnya, for example, only 5% of teachers are over 60 years old, while the national average is 17%.
