The attempt of the Georgian government to adopt an analogue of the Russian law on «foreign agents» was not successful. This was opposed at the mass rallies by the people of the country. This position was expressed at the hearings of the European Parliament.

The court considered it a call to extremism.

The Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights published an opinion on Azerbaijan’s law on political parties.
